Nice Britain & Eire win first Curtis Cup since 2016 in dramatic end

The forty third Curtis Cup Match culminated in a dramatic end on Sunday at Sunningdale Golf Membership in England, with hosts Nice Britain & Eire claiming their first win within the biennial competitors since 2016.

The Curtis Cup, a three-day competitors that includes the perfect feminine amateurs in the US and Nice Britain & Eire, encompasses a format that features three foursomes and three four-ball matches on the primary two days adopted by eight singles matches on the ultimate day.

Nice Britian & Eire’s Lorna McClymont then sealed a decisive victory in her match towards Megan Schofill with a string of birdies that allowed her to go 3-up on No. 13. McClymont secured a 3-up victory on the sixteenth gap, making GB&I’s Mimi Rhodes’ half-point towards American Melanie Inexperienced the match’s clincher. American Rachel Kuehn’s 3 and a pair of win towards Aine Donegan within the ultimate match was then a moot level. The ultimate tally: 10.5-9.5 to Nice Britain & Eire.
