Every week, members of the nationwide media vote on the nation’s high contenders on the Triple Crown path within the Nationwide Thoroughbred Racing Affiliation (NTRA) High Thoroughbred Ballot.
Week 3 of the 2025 NTRA High 3-Yr-Previous Thoroughbred Ballot, covers races by Feb. 9. The chief within the ballot stays 2-year-old champion Citizen Bull, who received his 3-year-old debut within the Robert B. Lewis Stakes at Santa Anita Park on Feb. 1. New within the ballot this week at No. 7 is John Hancock after his win within the Sam F. Davis Stakes, Feb. 8 at Tampa Bay Downs.
The three-year-old ballot represents horses competing as much as and thru the Triple Crown. Rankings are primarily based on a 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-1 voting system. First place votes are in parentheses.
