High Rank indicators featherweight prospect Albert Gonzalez

High Rank has added one other prospect to their proficient secure of fighters.

Unbeaten featherweight Albert Gonzalez signed a long-term promotional take care of High Rank, it was introduced Monday afternoon.

Gonzalez (10-0, 6 knockouts), who resides in Moreno Valley, California, was a standout novice who made his professional debut in November 2021. Garcia sees plenty of upside in Gonzalez and believes signing with High Rank was the correct match.

“We’ve identified ‘Chop Chop’ since he was a child,” Garcia informed The Ring late Monday evening. “He used to come back to my gymnasium, simply to hang around and be just a little troublemaker along with his brother, Danny. He has been with me after three professional fights. 

“This child has an amazing future. High Rank is nice at growing fighters and I feel they’ll get ‘Chop Chop’ to develop into [a] world champion. [I am] very excited for his future with High Rank.”

After preventing in membership reveals throughout Southern California, Gonzalez earned a spot on final 12 months’s Matchroom Boxing-promoted Jesse “Bam” Rodriguez-Sunny Edwards undercard in Glendale, Arizona, the place he knocked out Alexis Molina within the second spherical. Gonzalez fought on a High Rank card on July 13 in Las Vegas, stopping once-beaten Conrado Martinez.

In his final bout, which occurred on the Luis Lopez-Angelo Leo card in Albuquerque, Gonzalez stopped Damian Alcala within the third spherical.

The 22-year-old Gonzalez is grateful for the chance to signal with High Rank and hopes to develop into an element within the 126-pound division.
