The tree planting initiative aimed to bolster the cultivation of Liberica coffees and lengthen assist to Batangas espresso farmers. Over 100 individuals took half, planting greater than 1,000 Liberica seedlings donated by the Figaro Espresso Basis to the Batangas Espresso Federation.

Mr. Ace Azarraga emphasised the significance of the initiative, stating, “Barako, or Liberica Espresso, is a local espresso discovered solely within the Philippines and is on the point of extinction. The Figaro Basis’s mission is to revive the glory of Barako espresso within the Philippines. We’re dedicated to supporting Filipino espresso farmers by offering them with espresso seedlings, skilled steering, and the required services for sustainable espresso farming.”

Mayor Wilson Maralit shared his imaginative and prescient for the province, saying, “We purpose to revive Batangas’ standing because the espresso capital of the Philippines. Along with the Figaro Basis, we are going to proceed to assist the espresso farmers of Batangas.”

Volunteers
