French publication Midi Olympique have included for the second week working the English trio of Mako Vuniopola, Kyle Sinckler and Jack Willis of their Prime 14 crew of the week.
Props Vunipola and Sinckler have continued to take the French prime division by storm of their debut seasons, with each registering wins over the weekend.
The previous Saracens loosehead performed an hour on the Stade de la Rabine of Vannes’ first-ever win within the league, a 30-20 victory over Lyon. The Bretagne membership completed the match with 100 per scrum success, which the retired England prop would have performed an enormous half in.
Sinckler loved an analogous degree of scrum dominance within the French capital, ending with 91 per cent scrum success as his Toulon aspect defeated Stade Francais on the Stade Jean-Bouin. The 31-year-old made the second-most tackles of the match, with 13, and the joint-most dominant tackles, with two.
The 2 England props will go head-to-head on Saturday on the Stade Mayol.
Vannes’ victory left the Prime 14 newcomers in ninth place within the division, whereas Toulon are in sixth after three rounds. Toulouse, in fact, sit on the prime after their undefeated begin forward of a repeat of final season’s closing towards Bordeaux-Begles Sunday.
