Every week a panel of media members, horseplayers, and Breeders’ Cup World Championships officers launch a ballot tabulating their votes on the nation’s high contenders for the 2024 Longines Breeders’ Cup Basic. The rankings are a weekly score of the highest 10 horses in competition and are decided by every voter rating their high 10 horses with factors assigned on a descending 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 foundation.

The primary week of the 2024 Breeders’ Cup Basic rankings are led by high older horse Nationwide Treasure and high 3-year-old Dornoch.

The rankings will likely be up to date every week. The outcomes of the most recent ballot are beneath.
