The assembly passed off alongside the thirty ninth FIVB World Congress in Porto
The FIVB Volleyball Basis Board held its first ever assembly in Portugal yesterday, following the opening day of the thirty ninth FIVB World Congress. This marked a big step within the organisation’s purpose to serve the world by means of volleyball.
On the assembly, the Board accepted the precept of useful resource and training provision help for 2 initiatives: the Brahmaputra Volleyball League and the Githurai Kimbo Volleyball Academy. - Her Excellency Sheikha Hind bint Hamad Al Thani, Volleyball Basis Honorary Board Member, Vice Chairperson and CEO of Qatar Basis
- Her Royal Highness Princess Ayah bint Faisal of Jordan, Volleyball Basis Honorary Board Member, President of the Jordan Volleyball Federation and Jordan Olympic Committee Board Member
- Nick Clarry, Volleyball Basis Honorary Board Member, CVC Managing Companion
President of the Volleyball Basis Ary Graça reiterated the significance of the Basis’s mission, stating:
“Collectively, we showcase the facility of volleyball to rework communities around the globe. We present how volleyball can open new doorways, problem social divisions, and promote wellbeing and more healthy existence.”
Reflecting on the occasion’s significance, President Graça defined:
