France have suspended Melvyn Jaminet after a video of him making a racist remark was shared on social media.

The 25-year-old full-back shared a video on his Instagram account after kicking a penalty in France’s 28-13 victory over Argentina on Saturday.

‘I promise, the primary Arab I see on the highway, I am going to headbutt him,’ Jaminet is alleged to have mentioned.

The video was later deleted from his account however has since been broadly circulated on-line.

The French Rugby Federation issued a press release condemning his remarks and noting that he had been faraway from the tour of Argentina.
